FirstGroceries began with a straightforward frustration: buying a week's groceries online was slower and less pleasant than it needed to be.
Why we started
Search that could not find a product you knew was stocked. Product pages missing the one detail you wanted — the size, the storage, whether it was worth the money. Delivery windows that quietly slipped. We thought a grocery store built carefully could do better than that, and set out to build one.
How we work
We are operated by Mia Karts LLC from Sheridan, Wyoming, and we serve households across the United States. We buy to a standard first and a price second, then work to hold that price. Chilled and frozen goods travel in temperature-controlled packing. Fresh departments are rotated continuously rather than left to sit.
What we care about
- Clarity. Unit prices, sizes and storage on the product page, where you can see them.
- Responsibility. If an order arrives damaged or late, that is ours to fix — including the part a carrier handled.
- Range. A single order should cover the whole week, not just the interesting parts of it.
Where we are going
We are still early, and the catalogue and delivery areas are growing. If something is missing that you would buy regularly, tell us — that feedback is the most direct influence on what we stock next.
